 Taiwan- Matured in Portuguese Port barriques to give it its complexed color and taste. Aromas of red grapes and clove, followed by vanilla and tobacco leaf. On the palate, brown sugar notes mingle with ground cinnamon and white pepper. A core of oak warmth from the port notes.

This expression from the Taiwanese King Car distillery is the first to carry the name of the King Car Group instead of 'Kavalan' as their single malt whiskies have all been known to date. Created as a well-rounded malt to represent the well-rounded Group, who operate in many industries, it is also bottled at a higher abv of 46%.

This dark, walnut-colored dram delivers the fabulous first-fill sherry cask characteristics we love: raisin, mixed peel, fruitcake, marzipan, Brazil nut, jellied fruits, and nutmeg. So wonderfully thick and chewy that you need to resist the temptation to pick up a knife and fork. It imparts dark weighty fruit, blackened oak, cooked apple, and a twister of peppery turmoil. Add water liberally to unlock figs, dates, and plums.
